Nashville is home to Diane Kimbrough now, but her career as a dancer and choreographer took her to South America, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and Central and Eastern Europe. Diane created choreography for network television specials, feature films, music videos, and dozens of corporate productions for Apple, Suzuki, IBM, Chevrolet and more. A yoga instructor in 2017 pointed Diane toward acro and the allure was instantaneous -it checked all the boxes. “I’m totally drawn to L base flows spiced with whips and pops because of the tasty mix of strength and nuance and the opportunity for expression in the movement is limitless.” Diane co-teaches a weekly open level acro class. “My dance background informs my acro teaching where fun and freedom rise from a foundation of solid technique.” Always in motion, when Diane is not doing acro, you can find her rock climbing or creating something fantastic with food.
