Rachel Mira

Rachel’s discovery of movement was all a happy accident. While studying at Parsons School of Design, she wandered into Washington Square Park (a beloved jam location for NYers) and noticed a bunch of humans climbing on top of each other… who wouldn’t be curious?! She took her first class that week and the rest is history.

Rachel’s practice is deeply rooted in radical inclusion, social justice, and improving authentic human relations. She co-designed and teaches in a space for queer and trans folx, as well as curates and leads discussions on ethical responsibility and activism. In 2019 she co-founded Ignite, a national community of women in acro focused on having the hard conversations to support, explore, and advocate for socially responsible spaces and practices.

Rachel has trained with Pitch Catch Circus School of Acrobatics, completed her Yoga & Anatomy TT with Warrior Bridge, and completed her Acro TT with Acro Revolution.
