Nate Rieder

Nate is a fitness and movement enthusiast with a passion for learning new things and figuring out the most effective ways to communicate them to the people around him; he aims to be a jack of all trades and a master of some. He has a decade of experience training, competing in, and coaching a broad array of strength sports. After trying Acro for the first time in 2019, Nate was immediately hooked, realizing that it conferred interpersonal and psychological benefits unlike those offered by his other physical pursuits and gave him a much-needed outlet for exploration, creativity, and teamwork. By the end of 2020, he and fellow AcroLove Teacher Rebecca Solomon had founded Acro &, a company dedicated to providing consistent, high quality classes in Acro and related movement disciplines to the Philadelphia community.

Nate is a firm believer that physical play and general silliness are essential to mental and physical and well-being, and that the vast majority of adults simply don’t have an outlet for these necessities in their everyday lives. He feels that Acro is a perfect activity to fill this common void, and he is passionate about introducing as many people as he can to something that has had such a profound impact on his life. Nate is tremendously excited to continue building a vibrant community of Acro enthusiasts with whom he can learn, teach, play, and grow!
