Standing and L-Base flow

Debbie Collis & John Thorpe

L-Base/Standing. All Levels. Like acro routines? So do we! We will take you through this accessible flow with some Standing Dance Lifts as well as l-basing. We will show you our favorite ways to connect these kinds of acro together in a sequence that will be fun to show off to your friends!

Icarian. Intermediate. A fun assortment of deliciously delectable delightful pops.

Prerequisites: Icarian straight pops in plank, chair/throne and bed. Chair to plank and plank to chair.

Washing Machine Mania

Alexandra Mohr & Jacob Brown

L-Base. Intermediate. Have you ever wanted to take all the most fun things about l-basing and put them together into one skill? Then your dreams are about to come true. Alex and Jacob are teaching a whipping, popping, group machine class. This machine starts out slow and easy and progresses to tempo whips and pops.

Prerequisites: Tarzan, Basic Pops, Side Star

Swing Toss o’ Mine

She’s got a smile that it seems to me

Reminds me of swing toss memories

Where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky

Now and then when I see that base

She takes me away to that special place

And it I stare too long, I’d probably jump in and fly

Come learn some new swing toss transitions, entrances, exits, and tricks! This high-flying workshop will cater to acrobats who love large group skills and 80’s music.

Prerequisites: jump into L-base shoulderstand, unspotted 2-high walk, 30s plank on two standing bases, accurate self-assessment, excellent spotting skills

The Art of Throwing

Jeremy Martin

Standing. Advanced. Adding style and a playful air to skills that are familiar. Class will start with the fundamentals of F2H and H2H. Our destination is becoming comfortable with throwing passes as a group and developing dynamic catches as a duo.

Prerequisites: 30s F2H no walking. 15s H2H no walking. High bird 1min no walking.

Acropeutics

Therapeutics. All Levels. Float and relax downstream as we embark on a journey together into loving kindness. Learn massage techniques and some acropeutic inverted stretches.

Washing Machines. Intermediate. Every year we try to roll out a new machine or five to keep you challenged, dizzy and entertained. Snag some classic THN moves to add to your flows or create a new one with our funky machine format. Packed with Pass flyer games, new material and bad humor

Prerequisites: Popping sidestar tick-tocks, Side-stars in your sleep, Barrel Rolls till you barf, an openness to our dark web of humor.

AcroYoga Flow – Be Water my Friend

Chelsea Kauai & Modern Tarzan

L-Base. Intermediate. We love flows!! Moving from pose to pose in an elegant way is one of our specialties. In this class we will be teaching a few of our flows and blending them into one. There’s some unique transitions that will add a new element of creativity to your practice. Excited to flow in sync together at the end of the class.

Prerequisites: 3 washing machines

Boomlocate

Laura Lebron & Joseph Gray

Standing. Int/Adv. We will give you all our favorite progressions and drills to work on your inlocate to hand to hand. All these drills will give you more confidence and expertise in your standing hand to hand as well as adding some fun and attainable skills to elevate your practice and partnership. More than just getting a trick, we will focus on timing, communication and fun when working on more advanced skills that sometimes can be frustrating.

Prerequisites: Comfortable 2high and jumping in low h2h. Some experience with standing h2h preferred.

Dynamic Trio Rodeo

Kylee Baze, Adam Hiner & Jordan Randall

Group Standing. Advanced. Lace up your boots and strap on your chalk bags. This is gonna be a wild (and safe) ride! We are going to be tossing and turning, balancing, and popping our way through this rodeo. Yeehaw!

Prerequisites: Standing hand to hand (regular and reverse) 5 seconds no walking
